Dear author/artist,

Thanks for creating something for me! I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. The first thing I’d like to say is, feel free to ignore everything in this letter except the DNWs. I've written out some general likes and a few things I like about each pairing, but please don't feel constrained -- I’d much rather read something you had fun writing. Also, any rating is fine.

Prompt mixing is welcome.

General likes:

Competence (physical/intellectual/superpower-related/etc.), plotty casefic, characters rescuing each other, characters rescuing themselves, time-travel/Groundhog Day plots, canon-divergence/for-want-of-a-nail AUs, canon-compliant fic, hurt/comfort, angst, action/adventure, outsider POV, AUs where the characters still have their powers/skills, dimension travel and/or meeting alternate versions of themselves, self-sacrifice, ethical dilemmas, character studies, unreliable narrators.

Relationship likes:

Characters being intense about each other, ambiguous relationships, characters going into Determinator mode when the other is in danger, pining/UST, loyalty kink, complicated relationships, possessiveness/co-dependency/protectiveness, jealousy, us-against-the-world, casual physical affection, bedsharing, characters watching each other sleep, one or both characters trying to resist temptation, forbidden romance.

Smut & kink likes:

sex pollen, aliens/bad guys made them do it, characters in a secret/forbidden relationship being caught in compromising situations, oral, fingering, frottage, coming in clothes, semi-public sex, biting/marking.

Opt-ins (not necessarily requests, but things some people might DNW that are not a problem for me):

character death, unhappy/bittersweet endings, dubcon, infidelity, unrequited feelings, violence, darkfic, fusions with other canons, non-canonical genders & sexualities (trans, asexual, etc.), 2nd-person POV, canonical or noncanonical background pairings, D/s, self-harm/suicidal ideation/suicide, kidfic.

General Art Likes:

vivid colors (if colors are used), characters being physically affectionate with one another (embracing, holding hands, kissing hair or hands, etc), symbolism, visual contrasts, dark/light motifs, elaborate outfits (if applicable to canon), characters fighting next to one another or back-to-back (if applicable to canon). For shippy art, I'd prefer you cap it at an M-rating for anything sexual (see my art DNWs for more detail); on the other end of the spectrum, don't worry too much about whether your art is "shippy enough" as long as the focus is on the requested characters.

DNWs:

one character deliberately non-conning another character within a requested relationship (mutually non-con scenarios like sex pollen or bad-guys-made-them-do-it are fine), m-preg, A/B/O, graphic descriptions of vomit, the spelling "cum" (as opposed to "come").

Art-specific DNWs:

Explicit depiction of genitals (nudity above the waist is fine for all genders, the characters banging each other but with a conveniently placed sheet/houseplant/shadow is fine, sexual activity in general is fine, I just don't want to see their actual bits), vomit, come, graphic gore (PG-13 injuries are fine, the character being bruised and bloody is fine, I just don't want their intestines hanging out or whatever).

I recently discovered this show and enjoyed it immensely. Casey and Derek are so much fun - how they challenge each other and understand each other, and how they obviously care about each other despite all the bickering and genuine personality conflict. For either ship or genfic, things that I'd love to see: prank wars, post-canon fic (Vacation With Derek compliant, or assuming they go straight to Queens, or something even further in the future), interactions with other members of the McDonald-Venturi household, Derek and Casey teaming up, outsider POV on their interactions.

Additional shipfic prompts: getting together, teenage experimentation with each other, telling the family about their relationship, jealousy over each other's love interests, an argument they have while in an established relationship.

Taylor & Lisa, Taylor & Bitch, Taylor & Armsmaster | Defiant, Taylor & Dennis | Clockblocker, Taylor & Jack Slash.

Taylor is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters - I love her increasingly ruthless pragmatism and her determination to do what needs to be done even when it's not easy or appreciated. Part of the fun of Worm is the wide array of complex and interesting characters, so anything where she interacts/teams-up with/fights against the other requested characters (and/or with others we didn't get to see her interact with extensively in canon) would be great. This could be a missing scene from canon, or else from an AU - where she joins the Wards, or some other villain team, or has a different power, etc.

Art prompts: Characters working together, or fighting against each other, or more generally just using their powers, or interacting in-costume, or meeting out-of-costume.

The Broken Earth

Essun/Hoa, Essun & Hoa, Essun & Hoa & Nassun

Generally speaking, I'd love to see something post-canon as any combination of these characters get to work rebuilding the world. Character studies or missing scenes from canon would also be great. If you wanted to get creative with some sort of canon-divergence - maybe Essun manages to track down Nassun sooner and they have a chance to deal with their issues prior to the very last moment, or one of the requested characters decides to deal with the apocalypse in another way. Or how about angst fic dealing with the fact that Nassun is mortal while Essun & Hoa will live forever?

For Essun/Hoa, I would also enjoy something exploring Hoa's devotion earlier in canon when his feelings were one-sided, or else a canon-divergence AU where the two of them become closer while Essun is still human.

Art prompts: I'd love to see illustration of scenes from canon, or Essun and Hoa going to visit Nassun post-canon.

Marvel (Comics)

Requesting fic and art.

Because this is comics and there isn’t exactly a single consistent continuity, feel free to work in any part of the multiverse (616, Ultimates, House of M, etc.), any time period, or any version of the characters - even if it’s an older or more obscure run that I haven’t read yet, I’ll just be happy to have something to add to my to-read list. Also because this is comics, feel free to ignore any canonical plot developments that you don’t like or which would interfere with your story (for example, I prefer to stick with Magneto being their father).

Pietro Maximoff/Wanda Maximoff

I totally read Pietro’s reactions to Wanda’s relationships as being motivated by jealousy, so maybe something exploring his angst/guilt/shame over what he believes to be one-sided incestuous feelings (they can be actually one-sided or not, depending on how angsty you want to go). Or any first-time scenario where circumstances require them to have sex (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, aliens made them do it, ritual sex to save the world, etc). Maybe something where they were together when they were younger and surviving alone together, broke up after becoming Avengers, and reconnect again when they’re older and more mature. I’d also be interested to read something in a non-Ultimates universe where their incestuous relationship - current or past - is discovered: their teammates’ reactions, the PR fallout, everybody jumping to the conclusion that Pietro is Tommy and Billy’s father (can be actually true, or not…). Or something where they do literally run away from their problems together one of the times that Pietro suggests it.

I also wish we could have seen them interacting more with each other in the immediate fallout from House of M, given that they both just made world-shattering decisions for the sake of the other, so I'd love something along those lines (and the same goes for emotional fallout from any of the other crazy storylines they've been put through).

Art prompts: Being physically affectionate with one another (cuddling, sleeping next to one another, etc).  Fighting bad guys together. Hand-holding. In mundane disguises while on the run. The two of them connected by the Red String of Fate. Them using their powers. Pietro running while carrying Wanda. Pietro watching/pining for an oblivious Wanda. Getting caught making out by another character.

Erik Lehnsherr & Pietro Maximoff & Wanda Maximoff

Really I just want dysfunctional family drama (and feel free to include Lorna and/or Tommy & Billy if you like). Maybe they have to team up against a common enemy, or get captured together, or have to work together in some other survival situation. Maybe an AU where Erik raises the twins (and how conflict could emerge between them even if they started out as a family unit). Maybe something angstier in the 616 universe, dealing with the fallout from all of Erik's terrible parenting choices. Or something set during the twins' time with the Brotherhood. Or House of M fallout - canon-based, or in a divergence where they're all together for whatever reason in the immediate aftermath.
