Dear author,
Thanks for creating something for me! I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. The first thing I’d like to say is, feel free to ignore everything in this letter except the DNWs. I've written out some general likes, but please don't feel constrained -- I’d much rather read something you had fun writing. Also, any rating is fine, though I prefer some plot and/or character/relationship development along with my smut if you choose to write any.

What I love about this canon is the combination of the Highland setting, how quickly Keith and Ewen develop such an intense loyalty toward each other, and how the war acts as a deliciously fraught backdrop for all the character melodrama.

I absolutely loved the development of their relationship from their UST-laden rivalry in the first movie to the quiet intimacy of their friendship in TG:M. I'll be happy with fics set at any point in that timeline (or beyond, in an AU where Iceman lives), but also feel free to set something after the first movie that ignores what we learned from TG:M.

I always enjoyed the concept of Sheppard having a particular connection to the city - I'll enjoy anything on the spectrum from "lighthearted wacky sci-fi hijinks" to a more serious or darker exploration of the alien nature of a ten-thousand year old city. I love SGA's whole ensemble, so feel free to bring in the rest of the team, or just keep it focused on Sheppard and Atlantis.
