Dear author/artist,

Thanks for creating something for me! I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. The first thing I’d like to say is, feel free to ignore everything in this letter except the DNWs. I've written out some general likes, but please don't feel constrained -- I’d much rather read something you had fun writing. I didn't include prompts for every freeform to prevent this letter from getting ungodly long, but if I didn't add a note specifying what I was thinking for any given freeform, you can assume that anything is fine. Also, any rating is fine.

Prompt/freeform mixing is welcome, though certainly not necessary.

For anyone unfamiliar with the canon who might be curious, this is a six-episode German miniseries about an East German agent who goes undercover in West Germany to seduce women for information. He develops genuine feelings for one of the women, who, unbeknownst to both of them, is actually his twin sister. It's available to watch on US Netflix.

Because this is comics and there isn’t exactly a single consistent continuity, feel free to work in any part of the multiverse (616, Ultimates, House of M, etc.), any time period, or any version of the characters - even if it’s an older or more obscure run that I haven’t read yet, I’ll just be happy to have something to add to my to-read list. Also because this is comics, feel free to ignore any canonical plot developments that you don’t like or which would interfere with your story (for example, I prefer to stick with Magneto being the twins' father).

Really, I just want family drama for any combination of these characters. I enjoy Pietro and Lorna’s interactions in X-Factor, and I wish Lorna and Wanda had more opportunities to develop a relationship, so any sort of three-way sibling bonding would be lovely - whether it being saving the world together, or quieter moments of bonding in between all the on-page drama and high-stakes battles. And of course there's Erik himself, for maximum family dysfunction.

Alternately, just hurt/comfort and emotional fallout from any of the other crazy storylines they've been put through, or from their superheroing in general.

Feel free to use freeforms I requested for Wanda & Pietro for Wanda/Pietro and vice-versa. I would prefer Pietro to be the pining one for those tags, and the sub for the BDSM tags.

I totally read Pietro’s reactions to Wanda’s relationships as being motivated by jealousy, so maybe something exploring his angst/guilt/shame over what he believes to be one-sided incestuous feelings (they can be actually one-sided or not, depending on how angsty you want to go). Or any first-time scenario where circumstances require them to have sex (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, aliens made them do it, ritual sex to save the world, etc). Maybe something where they were together when they were younger and surviving alone together, broke up after becoming Avengers, and reconnect again when they’re older and more mature. I’d also be interested to read something in a non-Ultimates universe where their incestuous relationship - current or past - is discovered: their teammates’ reactions, the PR fallout, everybody jumping to the conclusion that Pietro is Tommy and Billy’s father (can be actually true, or not…).

Generally speaking, I'm interested in how they interact with the other Marvel characters & what it means for two people who’ve been relatively socially isolated apart from one another to suddenly need to work with a team, so I’d love something looking at how they’d adjust to being Avengers in a Pietro-lives AU. Outsider POV fic would also be fun, not just because of the touchy-feeliness but because of all the other habits/behaviors they would have picked up after years of living in each other’s pockets. Pre-canon fic from before or during their time with HYDRA, AUs where Pietro never dies, or where Wanda manages to resurrect him, etc. Endgame AUs: One twin is snapped but the other isn’t. Both twins survive the snap and are involved in the time heist: you can send them to Vormir (for maximum angst) or else have fun with them going back to 2012 or visiting Asgard, etc.

To me this is a very bittersweet pairing. If the fic takes place when they're already in a relationship, I'd like it if there's still some tension and ideological differences; conversely, if it takes place when they're enemies, I want to see the strength of their emotions towards one another, even if their other responsibilities constrain them from demonstrating it. Either character can play either role for "Character A...Character B" type freeforms. Feel free to write in or create a canon divergence from any era/timeline, or to create a non-mundane AU; I've seen all of the movies and I think their relationship has interesting potential at any point, even though it's obviously going to be a slightly different dynamic XMFC-era vs post-Apocalypse vs the DoFP apocalyptic timeline etc.
